Alexander Wang and Samsung create Crowd-Sourced Bag

Alexander Wang and Samsung Electronics teamed up to create the world’s first crowd-sourced gym bag. For its design, Wang recruited friends and ask them to create drawings and sketches on Samsung’s Galaxy Note II smartphone, which he then assembled into one.

“This collaboration with Wang is so exciting because it really demonstrates how technology not only enables but empowers the creative process of fashion designers, artists, and creative individuals,” said Younghee Lee, executive vice president of global marketing at Samsung.

This is the second collaboration between Alexander Wang and Samsung to aid Art Start. Earlier this year, he created a limited-edition print that was also featured on a bag and a mobile phone cover. Like this first one, the new gym bag will be sold to raise funds for New York-based charity Art Start, a non-profit organization that uses art to bring positive change into communities.

Alessandra Ambrosio for Glamour Magazine

Alessandra Ambrosio brings her south-american flair to the pages of the September issue of Brasilian Glamour magazine in an editorial photographed by Robert Astley-Sparke. Fashion Icon: Ulyana Sergeenko

Fashion weeks and runway shows are usually crowded with stylish fashionistas and wannabes and I usually pay attention to the best looks seen outside the runways, but I really wasn’t aware of this Russian Front, these eastern girls that are making a fashion statement in every place they go. They are amazing, well dressed, beautifully styled and the camera loves them, for sure.

I must admit I’m particularly loving Ulyana Sergeenko’s style: very eastern and folk, it captures russian culture perfectly. Ulyana is a fashion designer and all her collections capture this cultural essence that she translates into her own personal style with flower prints, head scarfs and accentuated silhouettes. She is a true fashion icon.

Fall 2013 Trend: Oversized Coats

Summer is saying goodbye and it’s time to start thinking about the cold days that are coming. One of the trends that will definitely be on the spot is Oversized Coats. For this next Fall/Winter, the bigger, the better. Dramatic and elegant coats were on every runway: from Marni to Michael Kors, every collection featured some type of voluminous topcoat. I’m already gathering some great inspirations for my wardrobe for next season.

Style Obsession: Denim and Nude

Lately I’ve been looking for style tips among the numerous street style blogs and I came across this very creative idea that can turn any casual outfit into a more preppy, formal look. Denim jeans are a symbol of a relaxed, easygoing lifestyle and I must say I’m addicted to wearing them. They are so comfortable and easy.

That said, if you pair it with some elegant nude pumps or stilettos, you instantly uplift look and become a lot more sophisticated. It can really help you when you need to go to a cocktail or a party at the end of the day, after a long day of work. I’m definitely taking this one with me!
