Viktor & Rolf Pinãta Explosion

Viktor & Rolf are the most scandalous fashion designers you will ever see and, on that note, their Fall – Winter 2016-17 couture collection does not disappoint . It looks like someone picked up a bunch of pinãtas and filled them with strong dinamite to make a huge explosion of details and textures.

Don’t get me wrong, I think these looks are really really awesome and I can’t even imagine how much time it took to make these super cool outfits, but I’m almost sure no celebrity will wear them to go to the Oscars. Well, maybe, if they’re styled well or a bit toned down perhaps, without the jackets and with a good set of high heels. I guess we just have to wait and see.

Asian Bohemian in Vogue China August 2015

I’m in love with this beautiful editorial for the August 2015 issue of Vogue China. Yin Chao, the photographer behind the lens of the camera, was able to capture the beauty of these bohemian looks, styled by the talented Candy Lee. Everything works so well: the colors, the patterns, the embroideries, all in such beautiful pieces. The soft florals are to die for and the colors are irresistible. I want to be this person.

Moschino Barbie is coming for Summer!… or maybe not

Since I first saw the Moschino Spring/Summer 2015 collection, I felt a little bit divided about the style options and materials. It’s not the first time Jeremy Scott presents a gaudy clothing line with pop inspirations. I was stunned with those Spongebob and McDonalds pieces, too much to handle in my opinion.

These ideas look amazing on the runway, with beautiful models pretending to be real life Barbies, but they don’t make any sense in the real world. I mean, would you wear those oversized plastic belts? Or those tacky ruffled dresses? Not!

This Summer collection is something  that only fits the runway and maybe a few fashion weeks were bloggers go to be seen and talked about. And what better way to be talked about than this? Just wear a full yellow dress with huge plastic buttons.

Elie Saab Couture Spring/Summer 2015

I love the creations of couturiers like Elie Saab. Working as a fashion designer for more than 30 years, he always succeeds to surprise us with beautiful dresses. They are mostly meant to be worn in the red carpet, but I can’t avoid thinking about the beauty of these delicate gowns and how I would love to get my hand in one of these looks. I would wear at home, I wouldn’t even care!

Chanel Spring/Summer 2015

So yes, Summer is coming and I can’t wait to open the closet to start wearing more fun colors and textures. Because these last sunny days are really putting me in the mood for hot weather, I decided to show you one of my favorite collections for the season. Karl Lagerfeld designed so many colorful pieces with beautiful tweeds and bohemian styles for Spring/Summer 2015. Dark colors also make an appearance to get that classy look. It’s an essential style reference for next season.
